Murakami Walk Cafe is a leisurely and aesthetic place, and it was established by two sisters. The older sister is an art enthusiast, and she was obsessed with a Japanese writer, Murakami Haruki. Also, because of her star sign, this twit enjoys gourmet like no other Taurus. She had a dream of opening her own coffee shop; in her shop, she isn't just planning to sell coffee and other drinks; she also wants to have some creative dishes she loves and hand-made sweets. The younger sister was a sporty girl, who was graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts. In the university, she was the club leader in pottery club, and this led her to go on the journey of making arts. Murakami Walk means taking time to appreciate the beauty of arts by walking around the village. It is not only the reflection of these two sisters but also their expectations of life.

From the co-owner, the younger sister, said: “Arts is not just for people to see on the wall. It is not a personal collection for display only. Through pottery, people can see arts everywhere within spitting distance. Selling arts isn’t just to make a living; it is selling the courage to share what an individual has created with everyone. Nowadays, people live in a busy life, we often miss out the chance of stopping by to take a closer look of the stand-alone building that hides among the trees in the park. Take a stroll, ride a bike, park your car, and most importantly, live the moment and enjoy your life!”
