Production Plan
At present, the Green Flower Marketing Cooperative is moving toward the planned production target, making its mode of operation reach the aim of an agricultural enterprise to ensure a stable at scheduled timing. That also means deciding farming acreage on number of orders or number of lease production. Of the 21 hectares of farming area, about 5,712,000 pieces are for export lease production, accounting for roughly 85%; while 1,008,000 pieces are for domestic markets, occupying about 15%. This kind of division won’t result in overproduction or become a burden for the government.
Industrial Facilities
The best temperature conditions for growing anthuriums are 25~32℃ at day and 21~24 at night. Since the amount of sunlight is quite disparaging in winter and summer seasons in Neimen, it is necessary for the anthurium farmers to set up double ammonium pipe network greenhouses to do the farming. To upgrade the flower quality, automatic insecticide spraying, computer surround control system of irrigation, micro-mist cooling equipment and harvest-off-the-ground rail cars are also indispensible.

Soillessly-cultured Production Technology
Using Coconut fibers as media for soilless culture and W-shape troughs to establish anthurium off-the-soil cultivation mode, the farmers can prevent the flowers from getting infected by pest and disease pathogens through the soil. And accompanied with the fertilizer nutrient solution technology, the fertility of the plants is ensured, the costs of labor of pest management and pesticide spraying are reduced, and finally the quality of the anthuriums thus produced is upgraded.

Harvesting and Classifying
Usually, it is the best time for harvesting when 2/3~3/4 of anthurium’s meat spikes change colors. After picking, the cut
flowers should be plunged in the water for at least 30 minutes to suck in water. Then a preservation tube with fresh water or
preservation solution is inserted into the base of the stem. After that, they are placed in carton for packing. If short-term
storage is required, they should be kept in the environment with relative humidity of more than 90% and the temperature should not be lower than 12.8℃ to avoid chilling injury. The SOPs are as follows:

To maintain the brand image of the Green Flower Marketing Cooperative, the harvested anthuriums should follow the standard packing regulations. They are classified into seven ranks according to the size of diameter and length of stem, which is shown in Table 1-3.

The Management of Cultivation Park
The following are restrictions and control toward in and out of goods and personnel:
- The carrying of any uninspected pups into the cultivation area is strictly prohibited.
- Any uncertain plants should be immediately gotten rid, and tools used to do it should also be disinfected at the same time.
- Before entering the cultivation area, both personnel and tools should be disinfected.
