About me: Hello everyone! My name is Ting-wei Hsu and I attend the 6th grade of Wun De Elementary School. I¡¦m the vice captain of the exploration team. My hobbies: playing ball, listening to music, surfing the net/using PC and others. I want to be an engineer in the future. Pleased to meet you all.

Our experience for the Fengyuan Relay Station next to our school was unforgettable. There were two tall towers, which were particularly hard to forget. They were used to broadcast popular programs like I Radio, BCC Formosa Network and News Network. We also checked out a lot of equipment. But each had high voltage so we were not allowed to touch them. However, overall it was quite memorable.
It was a tiring and extraneous experience to participate in Cyberfair project but it was worth it. I learned how to interview, how to broadcast and how to take notes.
It was helpful for my studies. Thank you so much!

About me: Ya-jun Hsu: I¡¦m an outgoing person and I¡¦m sincere. It was a great responsibility being the captain of the exploration team. I hope to be a famous host in the future.

I was quite thrilled to visit the BCC stations and I was particularly excited to experience making live program at BCC Taichung Station. I learned at Chiayi Station that the old equipment left over from the Japanese occupation era were still usable! There were bullet holes! I was so curious that I reached out to touch them ¡V they were rough! When I went to the Taipei Station I saw the famous Ms. Mei-ren Yu. I saw her doing live programs and solving issues for the public. I discovered that there were many staff members working hard alongside the host!
It was hard during the past few days but I learned a great deal, so much so that I¡¦ll never forget.

About me: My name is Rong-cheng Liu. Normally I don¡¦t talk much and I like to act for radio drama. I imitated the commercial featuring Chang Ya-jun and got praised by everyone for it. I wish to be in stage drama when I grow up.

I was quite excited and fearful upon learning our undertaking of the Cyberfair project. I didn¡¦t know if I could take on such challenge. After few days of busy interview, I discovered that there even more to do! I had to organize my notes, writing reports, drawing, visiting local residence and finally, I had to type a report and upload the information in order to complete the task. It was tiring but worth it. Because there would be no harvest without hard work!

About me: My name is Min-ching Hsieh and my hobbies are singing and dancing. I¡¦m an exceptional conversationalist because I always have so much to say. I love chatting and I think I¡¦m quite suitable to be a radio show host!

I visited many places, met a lot of people, listened to many expositions and written many reports. I¡¦ve learned a lot! It turned out that a lot of equipment and people are needed. Without many people working together, we would not have radio programs. Also, radio programming not only bring us many joys but also spiritual support for many poor families. Radio broadcasting is quite powerful; in addition of providing entertainment, it offers much-needed help as well. Of course that¡¦s because many broadcasters are willing to contribute for radio broadcasting so that we could learn the important news for the day. I came to the realization that to be perfect on anything, everyone must work together. Finally, radio broadcasting is quite relevant to our daily lives!

About me: My name is Hsin-ju Hsu and I like drawing, reading and travelling. I wanted to be a reporter since I began participating in this Cyberfair project.

The theme for this Cyberfair project is ¡§radio broadcasting¡¨, so we visited some radio stations. We visited BCC Taichung Station, the BCC Transmission Station next to the school, BCC Taipei Station andNational Radio Museum. When we visited different places, we learned different things. Participating in Cyberfair project helped me with a great deal of broadcasting knowledge and also allowed me to learn that the influence of BCC Station is wide-reaching. It certainly has contributed a lot.

About me: My name is Hong-yu Hsu and I was born in the town ofYuanlin, Zhanghua. My hobbies are playing PC and video games and badminton. I hope to be a popular host envied by many.

Director Yang took us to the machine room to see different equipment and facilities. After that, he took us to behind the station to see the towers. He told us that it doesn¡¦t matter what industry you¡¦re in, you must be professional and have a long term perspective to sustain your business. I belief he hit it on the head!
It has been a great honor to participate in Cyberfair project. It allowed me to learn much knowledge outside of textbooks. I couldn¡¦t belief the BCC Fengyuan Relay Station next door allowed us to perform series of interviews with different departments!

About me: I¡¦m Tze-qi Lin and I like reading Sherlock Holmes Mysterious and Jing Yong Wuxia novels. I¡¦m a fan of Keng-Ming Wang. I hope to be a scientist some day.

On our visit to BCC¡¦s HQ inTaipei, I saw Ms. Lu¡¦s presentation and gained an initial understanding about radio hosts. I saw the main control room at the HQ. I also got to interview Ms. Mei-ren Yu and the chief of the planning department. Ms. Mei-ren Yu said that during 921 Earthquake, there were too many emergency supplies sent to the station and there were no available space left on the trucks and she had to ask people to stop sending supplies. It was obvious the role radio broadcasting plays in disasters.
This was my second time participating in Cyberfair project and I learned something different every time. I feel that the world is huge and there are a lot of things I must learn!

About me: My name is Jun-hsian Hsu and I live on the highest place in Zhanghua. Our pineapples are sweet and we¡¦re famous for litchi and longan. I have a great deal of interest for photography and it is my hope to be a photographer in the future.

        1. There are many talents at BCC: there are many professionals and a lot of professional equipment at BCC¡¦s Taipei HQ. Most of the programs at BCC were recorded at the HQ. Everyone here was busy and it seemed like they had endless sets of tasks to perform.
        2. A famous person is famous for a good reason: we interviewed Ms. Mei-ren Yu and the process was quite successful. She¡¦s professional, friendly and loving, as well as reacts fast on her feet. We can learn a lot from her.
        3. It is hard to be a PR person: Ms. Lu, the chief at planning has accompanied us throughout our time at BCC. She gave presentations, acted as our tour guide and took us to visit different rooms. She even served us lunch with kindness and great service, even though we were just children. Thank you so much, Ms. Lu!
4.Taipei is huge and there are many tall buildings: there are many people, cars and houses. No wonder all the important people live here. I want to come toTaipei as often as possible if I get the chance.

About me: I¡¦m Wei-wen Hsu and I like to participate in different activities that the school organizes because they provide opportunities for self-development. I like listening to music, racing (running) and laughing out aloud to relieve my stress. How about you?

Wun De Elementary School is a very small school but it has a variety of clubs and activities such as chorus, flute team, Taiwanese dialect song singing competition and others. Also, BCC is next door and we are best friends with it and it is our great neighbor. We went there to see the multitude of equipment there. I learned a lot from the interview and I want to sort out my notes well and record my feelings.
Everyone has dreams; it¡¦s just that dreams are different. After many days of studying, I feel that I have developed a bond with radio broadcasting.

About me: Hello everyone, I¡¦m Jing-yu Hsu. My hobbies are listening to music, playing ball and so on. I¡¦m in 5th grade and I¡¦m attending Wun De Elementary School in Zhanghua. I wish to be a good teacher in the future.

Director Yang told us that the voltage at the base station is particularly high and we must not touch any equipment. If the equipment couldn¡¦t be used, one could dial the phone for assistance! Although I couldn¡¦t understand some of the technical terms, they still left me with quite an impression.
Everywhere you go, you leave some traces of you behind. We learned a lot during these few days. I believe I have been greatly influenced.
