Dancing Life
Yin-Cheng Wang

The one I introduced was Mr. Tseng’s “Dancing Life”, which stood outside a big downtown hospital center.  Mr. Tseng had originally used jellyfish to portray the sense of liveliness.  When this project was first completed, the biggest doubt by critics was whether it would be able to withstand the fierce destruction of typhoons.  From 2009 till now, it’d been through countless typhoons, and it had never once been torn apart.

You could also say that “Dancing Life” was like a beautiful young girl.  The “S”shape in the project was like her ballet tutu.  Her body moved in sync with the wind, as if she was a ballerina.  A masterpiece like this has not only changed the stereotypical impressions people have of hospitals, but also added some warm love to nearby area.
