Birds Flying
Hui-Yu Chen

I was the first of my teammates to be in charge of being a docent. My focus was on the art display “Birds Flying”. When I first happened upon Mr. Tseng's wind-powered art, we discovered that the color of the display was as colorful as his paintings. It was not till later on that we discovered Mr. Tseng’s likes to paint his artwork red, a color symbolizes good luck in Taiwanese tradition. “Birds” was made of red pipe-like metals, and had birds with twenty-something expressions, not to mention the creative combination of lids and CDs. It was as though we were watching a bunch of happy red birds soaring about in the sky.

Turning Our Reflections into Images
Since it was our first stop of Mr. Tseng’s wind-powered art tour, everybody was so impressive that we sketched out what we remembered of “Birds Flying”.
