Experience as a Bookstore Clerk

During the winter vacation, we went to Small Small Bookshop to experience a day in the life of a store clerk. From tidying the store environment in the morning, to an afternoon of running the store. We had to deal with the day-to-day customers, communicate with the suppliers, put books on shelves, contact lecturers about evening talks, and then tidy up before closing. It's not easy to become a bookstore clerk here!

Cyberfair Thoughts

During these 7 months, we have learned the importance of cooperation, time management, preparation, people skills and being a valued member of a team. We'd like to thank our teachers, teammates and everyone else who helped us. Because of everyone's hard work, we were able to make this Cyberfair project a big success!

Fixing Up Photos

The website doesn't only have interesting content and cute pictures. Of course we have to include photos too. After everyone had finished writing up our content, we began to number and fix up the photos that will be on each page. We hope that through these photos, visitors to our website will be clearer about what we did and feel closer to our research and discoveries.

Web Authoring

We began to work on the difficult and tiresome web authoring stage. We need to be very careful not to make any mistakes at this stage. Although our teacher taught us how to do it, when we did it for real, we suddenly realized how difficult a task it is! Everyone worked hard to overcome this problem, and after a few times of doing it we should get better at it!

Checking the Website Content

We learned a lot of things from making the website – collating data, drawing pictures, making WebPages, animations and many more skills. After the website was finished, we had to go back through and make sure there were no mistakes in the writing. After everyone had checked it, our website was finally successfully completed!
