Thank you Sappho, the owner of the Small Small Bookshop
From Sappho sharing with us, we got to see how hard she has worked to make her dream become a reality. We also saw her passion for reading and her commitment to promoting it. We will continue to try to be like her and follow our dreams.
Thank you Xiao Yu and Ya Wen, staff at Small Small
Because of their hard work, the people who come to the bookstore get to feel its warmth and comfort. Also they helped us to understand how important the partners are to an independent bookstore.
Thank you Da Huang, the shop's cat
The official mascot of the shop, Da Huang is always on time and always ready to greet the customers from whichever corner he happens to be in. Because of him, the shop has one more flavor and one more reason to fall in love with it.
Thank you those who help to hold events at Small Small
At the events we saw the passion and hard work the artists put into them. We also got to share with the people who create Vietnamese poetry and we listened to Teacher Li's lecture about the independent bookstores around the world
Thank you You Rendo, the editor for the Small Idea Publishing Co.
From what Ren De shared with us, we learned how Small Idea develops books and how they help writers to produce excellent work. It turns out that publishing is very hard work and this makes us treasure each book more.
Thank you fellow students who attended the story telling activity
The smiles on your faces made us so happy! Thank you for giving us the chance to learn something not from our books. Whether it was taking photos, making the animation, props or practicing lines we really enjoyed doing it!
Thank you to the stores that help us do our independent bookstore tour
During our one day tour, we saw many bookstore that have the same flavor as Small Small. We also saw that they work every bit as hard as Small Small to exist.
Thank you to all the people who came to the charity book sale
