Team Selection

The subject for the selection was the Yu-Tsai Choir. Each candidate had to collect data, make reports, produce posters, and show their best work.
The teachers kept telling us to relax and have confidence in our work that way we would perform well.

The Cyberfair Research Topic

Our teachers introduced us to a small book shop near the Dingxi MRT Station. The independent bookshop has been actively promoting reading activities in the community for a long time now. After listening to the introduction, everyone could present their own difference research topics. After an enthusiastic discuss, we decided that the topic for this year's Cyberfair should be the Small Small Bookshop.

Team Name and Topic Name

After deciding on a topic, each member of the team spent some time thinking of a team name and a topic name. We then voted for our favorite. We finally settled on the topic name, The Colourful World of Books – The Small Small Bookshop and the team name, Yu-Tsai Bookworms .

Making the Invitations

After deciding on the direction of research, we made an invitation card to send to the Small Small Bookshop inviting them to be our research partner. This time the card was made by Sabrina . It doesn't matter whether it is composition or colour, she is always very detailed and hard-working. After that, each member of the team wrote a message on sticky notes and put them on the invitation card.

First Visit to the Small Small Bookshop

On the 14th of August 2012 the Cyberfair team visited the bookstore for the first time. The people at the store were very caring and friendly. After Sabrina handed over the invitation card, it was everyone's turn to introduce themselves. After getting to know each other, we carried out a simple interview. It was just like we were chatting and if we have a question that we wanted to ask, they tried their best to answer it for us.
