Today, we are going to film in the studio of PTS in Taipei. The special event excited everyone.

When we arrived at the gate of Taiwan Television Service, Director Chung, Ms Liu,
Aunt Ming-Zhu and other parents took five consecutive pictures with us together.

We brainstormed about the ad and the team call, which baffled everyone. Fortunately,  Aunt Ming-Zhu wisely thought about the special team call for us. Since the ad and the team call would appear on TV, we were not comfortable about them. With the encouragement of the staff and Ms Fang-Ming Liu, we made it successfully.

Team Call

Ping He Elementary School nurtures masters.

Diversifying clubs train students' talents.

The hockey team competes around the world.

Dancing fairies display beautiful postures.

Children Orchestra composes heavenly music.

Ping He Elementary School, great! Great! Great!

We had to add actions for the  team call Everyone was especially nervous at the final shooting

We had a rehearsal and the shooting in the afternoon. Originally, I thought that we were the third group to be filmed. But because our musical instruments were the biggest and the most complex among the three teams, we were assigned to be shot first. Everyone was eager to show the best of their skills. Ms. Liu had to conduct downstage, and everyone was anxious. Some of us even sweated on our hands.

We waited at the studio for the rehearsal and the recording It's a special experience to rehearsal at the stage
Many thanks to the crew of Taiwan Public Television Service who helped set the musical instruments. Be it the checking of the seats or the setting of the microphones, no step could be treated carelessly.

The hosts felt our anxiety and tried to cheer us by clowning around. We were more relaxed then and played our "Pirates of the Caribbean" wonderfully. Then we played the theme song of the movie "Scent of a Woman" for extra credits. The song was originally made for string quartets. But we played the song with four parts of the accordions, which was still wonderfully expressed. Many of us had never entered a studio or been on TV. The hard-to-get experience not only worthy of envy but also a possible spur for everyone to progress.

The teacher seldom stood so far away. We lacked the sense of security for a while. The camera was aiming the ever anxious us.
The hosts timely relaxed the atmosphere. What kind of evaluation would the judges give us?

Finally, the judges commented that our musical skills were good enough to perform at "National Concert Hall." But they also suggested us to relax and smile so that our music would be more natural. We have to take the constructive advice in heart. "Loyal advice jars on the ears." The better the words are for us, the more we have to listen to and improve.

The quartet took on the challenge for extra cretis. The three judges all gave us "Excellent".
Thanks to the accompany of the backup team We completed the mission successfully.
We received the scholarship from Ministry of Education. We are all the greatest Taiwanese children!

Inner Thoughts

Jun-Wei Chen, Sharp Shooter

Thanks to the uncle Huang for providing the information,  Director for offering the support, and the effortful help of Ms. Liu. We would not have the opportunity to perform in front of the screen without them. We had a wonderful memory, which also put color on my life. Perhaps other people were not so lucky as we were, so we had to treasure such a special memory. Hope that other people could get this special experience, too.

Yan-Ming Liao, Past Master

We were lucky to get into the studio because of Ms. Fang-Min Liu's effort. She vied for our participation by typing scripts of the Children Orchestra's introduction and contacting Taiwan Public Television Service for us. With much effort, we finally got the chance to get to the studio. Many people did not have the opportunity to show on TV. This unforgettable experience was inerasable.

Yun-Rei Chang, Quick Silver

Thanks to Ms. Liu for vying the opportunity for us so that we could be recorded in PTS. Without her effort, we would not be able to show up on TV to enrich our experience by having more performance opportunities and have more people know about Ping He Elementary School Children Orchestra. Hope that we would be less anxious for our next performance. I believe that everyone would be more confident in the next competition.

Po-Yun Yang, Magic finger

Thanks to Ms. Liu, we were able to be shot a TVprogram in Taipei. Ms. Liu not only handles the orchestra but also puts the orchestra first of everything, vying the opportunity to be recorded in Taipei. Thanks to her, Ping He Elementary School Children Orchestra could be seen by the world, and we could learn from the experience, which would be an important practice before our competitions.
