Cyberfair Presentation

  Cyberfair Presentation by Yi-Hsin Tsai
On December 24, we made a presentation about our research subject, Mr. Luke Lin. Before the presentation, we practiced and practiced. I was really worried if I was capable of doing this. I thought every one of our team members was special in their own way. Liang-yo had a low-pitched voice. Huan-an was very funny. Yi-ting and Chi-lian were very competent. Hsin-tze spoke very clearly. I thought, I must have something special like them.
I took a deep breath and slowly walked onto the stage. I was going to talk about the topic of our Cyberfair project in front of all the teachers and students. They looked very attentive. I was curious if they were interested in our study subject and if I would do a good job presenting the results. I should not have been concerned; the presentation was a success.

I will remember the Cyberfair presentation for a long time. Because of this experience, I feel more confident about myself and have become a less introverted person. After presenting the results of our research, I knew that everyone held a seed of success in their hand. It is a lot of work to make it grow. There is no shortcut to success. Only when you keep working hard do you enjoy success and see the fruit of your hard work. This knowledge is very meaningful. Living a good life requires hard work.

  Cyberfair Presentation by Hsin-tze Chen

Today was a memorable day for the Cyberfair team. After several months of research, it was time to share the 2014 Cyberfair project results with all the teachers and students in our audio-visual room. Every one of us was very nervous and, yet, we looked forward to it.
So the presentation would go smoothly, our teacher Leo asked all of the team members to do rehearsals in the audio-visual room. We practiced our lines to see if we needed to add anything. Preparing for the presentation, we worked very hard and gave it our best effort. Our teacher was very happy with our work. This gave us a lot of confidence.

All the teachers and students waited quietly for our performance. The presentation started. First our teacher Jessie introduced Luke to them and shared his philosophy of life and some of his touching stories. Next it was our turn to do the presentation. Because we had practiced, we didn’t suffer from stage fright. We did our best to share our results with our audience in the hope of encouraging more people to emulate Luke by doing more for those in need. On this special occasion, we also presented the fund that we had we raised from the sale to My Culture Connect in a show of support for Luke. We hope Luke will be able to influence more people in the future.
