| I think that a beautiful Caogong Canal requires a clean water resource with absolutely pollution and garbage free along with its waterfront and ecological soil-built riverbanks. The riverbanks have to be beautified by lots of greenness; that is, trees. It also needs fish, ducks and all kinds of aquatics. | Caogong Canal can be constructed as a water- accessible area by adopting eco- engineering and placing stone chairs. Kids playing by the lakesides can only see limpid brook with dense growth of flowers and plants. There is also a wooden bulletin on the shore introducing the history of Caogong Canal construction and the origin of its rebirth and current conditions. It surely becomes a good place for all to spend their leisure time here. | This picture shows Caogong Canal that flows through cities has been developed into a water-friendly area. It has utilized the concept of eco-engineering along the banks; that is, they pile rocks and make them into dikes. With fish swimming around in the pond, it is then officially turned into a very natural wetland! | If we really want water quality in Caogong Canal to turn better, we have to make sure that no waste water emission and no littering in its water; nevertheless, we have to cultivate an environment that is good enough for aquatics to grow. We have to plant on its banks to beautify the riversides as well. It is even better to have people manage this place,allowing some aquatic fowls, animals or even insects to reside by the riverbanks and to breed their younger generations. | The sun is bright and Caogong Canal is so limpid that one can see the bottom of it with beautiful lotuses and lotus leaves on it along with lovely frogs and tadpoles¡KThe sky stretches to the horizon as blue as the ocean with a few egrets flying by¡KThere are green grasslands on sides of Caogong Canal.
