Aunt Huang Zin Yi was old but she had a powerful voice. Today, she introduced the model of the whale Lu-Kang. 1. Table of Seven Pieces-They were the same as the Boards of seven pieces which could be put together to form twenty different tables. 2. Chinese Chess were played by four people, two of them gave the orders, and the other two listened to play. 3. Shi Nau Dish-It’s a dish to thank the parents of the bride. 4.The sedan- A sedan was for the bride during the marriage. 5.Puppet Drama- A kind of drama which were played by the shadows of the leathered puppets. The pregnant women were not allowed to watch the show.

What interested me most was the bedroom of the Mr.Gu because the bedroom was big and pretty. In the room, there were a lying chair and a studying room. When my bedroom was compared to the room of Mr.Gu ,I was so hopeful that his room was mine.

Then, Aunt Huang narrated for us. To see so many valuable relics make my eyes brighter and brighter. She said that the tables of seven pieces were designed to prevent that the servants of the family had too much leisure time. Shi Nau Dish-It’s a dish to thank the parents of the bride. All of the stories were so interesting.

Miss Jian Hei Qing

Miss Jian Hei Qing was young and pretty. Her narration was so clear that I could easily realize the purpose of the visit to the museum. She said that we were so cute and she’s always smiling at us. In order not to break the historical relics, all of the members laid on the ground to finish the learning sheet. She introduced that 1. The Puppets Drama- According to the folk tradition in Lu-Kang, those women who were pregnant couldn’t watch the show because they were afraid of having an unhealthy baby!2. Pu-Die Drama- The story was that there was once a young man. He did’t do very job in the great test and he was very sad after the test. On his way home, he met an old man and the old man gave him a wooden puppet to may the young man good luck in the test. However, the young man failed again in the test. He got a idea that he could play the puppet to ease himself and entertain others. Later, he played the puppet better and better. 3. Automatic lying chair- Use of principle of lever law, the board that the feet were to put on would be rose as soon as the user sat down.

Aunt Gu Lin Zing

Aunt Gu Lin Zing introduced the Room 204, 205 and 206 for us, and her excellent narrations were as follow:
1. The Sauce Dish-The pictures of fish painted on the dish had the meaning of pretending that he or she was full. There was an old saying -Quenching one's thirst by thinking of plums --。
2. Selling Wife Contract-There was a husband who was always quarreling with his wife with his wife for the reasons that they were poor and no children. Later, the wife was sold by her husband. Then, the wife married another man and had two babies. The former man became the elder uncle of the kids of his former wife.
3. The Menu for Testing- The menu for testing was very interesting. For example, the celery means studying hard; the garlic means good at counting; green Chinese onion means being smart; the pig hoof means being familiar with the content of the test; the rice dumpling means succeeding in the test; tea means succeeding in the test. However, don’t drink the Wu-Long tea since that some mistakes would happen during the test.
4. Red Peach Spoon- The peaches meant long life and the granada meant a plenty of descendants which were both had the meaning of being lucky.
5. Silver Utensils- In the past, most of the rich families would use the silver utensils, in case that they ate the food with poisons. If the food had poison, the silver utensil will be changed to the color bronze. 6. The seven pieces table was a very smart design of the traditional furniture.

You could combine the table with different shapes. The scholars and the students used the tables of seven pieces to brainstorm while study.

Aunt Shu Shiu Nan

The narrator today was Aunt Shu Shiu Nan, and what interested me most were:
1. Bed of Greeting Guest :
It was placed in the middle of the hall in order to serve the guests. The bed was made of wingceltis which is a very valuable wood for making the furniture in China. The design and the style are luxury and elegant.
The sculpture of the tables and the chairs are also very delicate and skillful which could show the economic power of the host.
2.Human Labor Car :
The Human Labor Car was one of the important transportations in the old days. At first, it was just used by the doctors and the rich people.
3. Tables of Seven Pieces :
The seven pieces table was a very smart design of the traditional furniture.
4.Bamboo- As for the men, holding a bamboo was like embracing a lady.
5.Red Sleeping Bed :
In the Chinese custom, most of the furniture were the color of red in that the Chinese like the color most. Color red means being lucky. Therefore, the bed was called the Red Sleeping Bed.
The red sleeping bed stored in the museum was the work done in the Qing Dynasty. The sculpture of the bed was very delicately and graceful. The bed was made of good wood, and the sculpture in the past in Lu-Kang was excellent to create such nice and conformable furniture.

After passing over three hundred years, the bed was the same as the day that it was just finished. It was like a fantastic magic.
