When I was in 4th grade, my mother encouraged me to join Children Orchestra and learn music. I didn't know I would fall in love with Children Orchestra. It is almost 2 years since I joined. I didn't know hot to hold the sticks at the beginning. After teacher's help, I payed better and better, and had enough courage to join the contest with other members. Mr. Lai wasn't teach me how to hold the sticks. I could only watch other people play their instruments with the teacher. But there was a senior helping me to use the sticks correctly and show me some basic stuff about the timpani. Then the teacher taught me how to tuning.

In the second year, I kept staying for learning different music instruments. I understood what  "devilish training" is. Ms. Liu kept training us until our performance perfect. We practiced twice a day. We didn't get the first place in the contest as we expected. We cried together but our teacher thought we had done our best. She encouraged us to try harder next time.

This year is my last year in the Children Orchestra. I had to join the calligraphy contest as our school delegate. The training time overlaped the orchestra practicing. My form teacher adviced me to give up the orchestra since I had joined it for 2 years. I struggled about it. But Ms. Liu knew it and gave me the chance to have both of them, and I promised her that I would practice my instrument and make it better.

I memorized the past practicing days and the hard work we did. I was afraid that I would make any mistakes in the county contest. This time woud be my last time to join competition with the orchestra. I had to focus and show my best. Finally, We won the first place advanced! We were so very happy about it. Thanks Ms. Liu for hard working on training us and giving me the chance to learn music.
