Gong

Gongs are made of brass. Different gongs are played in different places. A strike of the gong would produce a low but loud sound.

Cymbal

Cymbals are percussion instruments of Chinese folk music. They are mainly distinguished as large cymbals and side cymbals (cha). They are composed of two round brass plates (which are 15 to 69 centimeters in diameter) and made sounds by clicking to each other. Cymbals are often played with gongs and drums in drum bands. Chinese cymbals sometimes are used in western music, but their size are under 11 centimeters and are played by striking the drum sticks.
