2014 Cyberfair- Ping He Children Orchestra

Director of Academic Affairs / Shih-Ying Chung

Our students participate in Taiwan Schools Cyberfair every year. Through the teachers' guidance, I hope the students could apply what they learn in class to the real life by doing project research in the steps of gathering information, interviewing people and making webpages.

The theme of our project is Ping He Children Orchestra. The Innovative Musical Notes is composed of student members and guided by three considerate teachers. The students had to practice every day in school and had Orchestra training lessons in winter and summer vacations. Ludwig van Beethoven once said, "Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy." Through interviewing the funding principal and teacher of the Children Orchestra, a group of music lovers, they learned the history of the Children Orchestra. By visiting Music Culture Park of National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, these kids built their music dreams. The plan to learn the activities of the Children Orchestra helped plant the orchestra in the campus. The performance on the community for elder citizens who live alone soothed the hearts. Participating in the talent show in Taiwan Public Television Service broadcasted orchestra music in Taiwan.

The Cyberfair team Innovative Musical Notes, actively explores the Children Orchestra history and have learned to care the environment by making orchestra music go into communities and the stage of the country, which are growth and surprise for teachers.

Director Chung always promotes the Children Orchestra Director Chung usually participates in activities of Innovative Musical Notes
