The English Folk Song Suite was composed by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams and modified by Gordon Jacob. The suite was originally made for brass bands and was modified for the orchestra one year later. The song is composed of three movements, and assigned song of the 2013 National Students Competition of Music is the third movement, which is allegro with bright rhythm.
