Through investigation and field survey for a period of time, we already had deeper understanding of the various devices in the Tropic of Cancer Solar Exploration Center. Therefore, we decided to elect the most loved device by ballot, and explore why it was so popular.

First, the interior and exterior parts of the Solar Exploration Center were differentiated. After gathering and sorting the collected data, the characteristics of every device were also confirmed by the staff. Then we began to vote.
For the exterior devices part, the Eight Planets Water Playground Area was voted 8 times, 2 times for the Sundial zone, once for the Twelve Constellation zone, the others got zero.

For the interior devices part, the 3D theater scored 9, the13 Ecliptic Palaces was voted once, Special Exhibition Room got 1 voter, and the others were not voted.

After voting, the results were carefully discussed and conclusions were drawn as followed:

‘The Eight Planets Water Playground Area:’ Entertaining and interesting. It shows the distinguishing features of the planets in the solar system in details. The visitors can also watch and dabble in the water, which makes it different from other devices.

‘3D theater:’ Provides interesting and update science knowledge in the films. Everything on the screen becomes so close and vivid to you when you put on the 3D glasses. The plots going along with the films always make the viewers laugh. Besides, the perfect, cosy environment in the theatre can even rival that in luxury movie theatres. No wonder everyone loves it.

After discussion, we all agree that an attractive device should be unique and interesting. With merging of science knowledge in it, people can learn something by playing. And they will be coming here more willingly and constantly.
