While visiting Mrs. Qiu’s Yualin History Studio, we noticed that Mrs. Qiu had her files put systematically in three big bookcases. There were about a dozen folders, which contained her Hakka handouts for teaching Raoping Hakka in communities in recent years. Also, there were two visitors’ books, “Visitors’ Footprints”, which contained the signatures of visting scholars and important guests. She flipped some files and explained the Raoping Hakka revival progress in Yualin, Yongjing and Puxin Twonship. She said she never felt tired even she had done more than 100 Raoping Hakka lectures in just three years. She expressed that teaching back in her dear hometown is the sweetest thing she ever has.
