History of the hospital:

The founder, Dr. Jing Sung Chen, set up this hospital after his coming back to Taiwan in the year of 1930. The hospital was located on the second section of Yuan-ji Road and renamed as Jing Sung Clinic later, which has run more than eighty years. In the early period, the attending physician is Dr. Jing Sung Chen, who is also the dean of the hospital. Due to he studied in medical school in Japan, the hospital mainly made use of the Japanese material. Several decades passed, and the second son of Dr. Jing Sung Chen, Shi-zai Chen came back from the States to run the hospital with his father. Since Dr. Shi-zai Chen studied in medical school in the States, he established a new building next to the original one for providing modern western medical skills. Afterwards, the focus was gradually transferred to the new hospital and Dr. Shi-zai Chen took the charge of the stuff in the hospital. And now the hospital has ended its running after the retire of Dr. Shi-zai Chen.

 Features of the hospital :

Currently, the Jing Sung Clinic has stopped offering services, buy it still remains all the settings inside as before, and so does the Jing Sung Hospital. Inside the examination room there are many medical devices which were advanced at that time, such as X-ray. These stuff remained now are quite precious, and the offspring of the Chen family hope t have regular exhibitions to display these items.
