The high speed railway station in Changhua was located
near Da-she Road and the area is very wide. After the opening of the station, Tianjhong
will become the only town which owns the high speed railway and Taiwan train
railway. It can effectively upgrade the convenience of transportation and there
are many featured attractions for tourists to pay a visit.
Da-she Road, which connects Tianjhong and Tianwei, was
originally a railway track for little trains of the sugar refinery. It
connected with Tianjhong Train Station in the east and extended to Er-lin and
Xi-hu in the west. Later, the sugar industry declined, so the track was removed
and made an asphalt road. In the end of this road there is a "Chen-Luo bee
ecology Memorial Park," which was made by the president of Qiao-da
enterprise and his sister. In 2005, they funded to build the home of
agricultural land for ecological park and took advantage of this perennial
flowers and greenery and ecology to express their infinite memorial of mother.
Theere are woods, streams, and wetlands ecology pool in the park, and it offers
a habitat for a variety of the wildlife and grows plenty of trees. Everyone is
welcome walk around here.
On the north side of Dou-zhung Road, there is a church
building of the Spanish fort built in the year of 1905. The church was built by
a Spanish priest. Due to the size of the land purchased is about eight large,
hence it is named after "eight Catholic." To the church as the center,
a Catholics village was formed, which was rarely seen in Taiwan, and the church
becomes Taiwan's major Catholic missionary center in central Taiwan.
If you go on forward to Beidou, you will meet the Village of Shi-zhang-Li
in the community of San-min. And walking along the path in the north, you will
arrive at the house of craft, Tianjhong Pottery Studio, the manager of the
studio, Mr. Zhi-chen Yeh, has loved pottery since his childhood. He was awarded
several times for his works. In the studio, not only the works made by Mr. Yeh
are displayed, but also the pottery DIY is offered for tourists to experience.
Its location is close to the high speed railway station and you really can't
miss it!
Going on north, you will see the Tsan-tian Temple,
a religious center for the residents in this community. Along the pathway in
its right side, you will reach the Old Tree Park. In this park, there are two
old trees of which ages are more than hundreds of years planted here to guard
the residents. They look like a couple of husband and wife, so they are named
after husband and wife trees. It's said that if a couple come here to make a
wish, their love will be blessed.
On the south side of Dou-zhung Road
is the popular Jin-fa Honey Twist. The green onion flavor honey twist tastes
delicious. So the orders from the Internet are numerous and tons of people are
lining up for long to purchase the products on holidays. Another Bao-da Honey
Twist located on Da-she Road is worth to be recommended as well. In addition to
honey twist, they also develop a variety of snacks and cookies for customers to
pick up.
On the corer of Zhung-zheng Road and Da-she
Road is a Bi-quan Lu Culture Gallery founded in 2011. Bi-chuan Li was born in
the year of 1930, and served as the leader of the classic poetry club, Orchid
Club. He was good at creation in Chinese literature. His works are very
abundant and he edited his works as a series of books, Bi-quan Yin Tsao. When
visiting the museum, you can appreciate his poems and calligraphy works.
