Ming-han:We once again went to the Tiaomi Trail, but this time with the fifth-form students led by Teacher Yu.  Mr.Yu has a very thorough understanding of the Tiaomi Trail's ecology; he talked about there being Swinhoe frogs on the trail, and one very special kind of snail, but unfortunately I didn't see any.  However, we picked Tsuoyi grasses along the way to play tug-of-war with, this time hiking the trail was different from the first time.  However, we went to where the cemetery is!  We couldn't find the remains of the old trail there, and we also couldn't find the ancient remains introduced last time in the village headman's video, which was really a pity.

Wu Jie-ming:Today, we followed a group of fifth graders and Teacher Yu De-yi up the mountain.  On the way up, the teacher told us many stories about the Tiaomi Trail.  I heard the teacher say that there had been a laurel tree by the side of the Tiaomi Temple, which lived there for several hundred years until it fell a few years ago, and I felt this was very sad. I also know what the rail line on the small piece of land by the temple was for, originally this was used to transport building materials by pushcar when the temple was being built.

Yong-ming:Teacher Ah Ching and I followed Teacher Yu De-yi to the Tiaomi Trail.  On the way, we took the route by Huian Village, where we took a look at the ecological environment and saw that there are many different types of plants there.  Passing Taihe Village, in the blink of an eye we found ourselves on the Tiaomi Trail.  We had just started up the trail when we saw a Human-faced Spider!  By the time we got halfway along we were already very tired, and this time we broke the trail's psychological 500th-step barrier and saw the cemetery.  The teacher wanted to find the ancient remains but couldn't.  I tried a little nervously to persuade the teacher to turn back, and finally he took us all back.  I hope next time we come to the Tiaomi Trail we'll be able to find the old remains introduced in the video we saw at the Taihe Village headman's office.

Zi-xuan:Today we followed Teacher Yu De-yi to the Tiaomi Trail.  There is a an ecological pond at the starting point of the trail, the teacher gave all the students a good look at the tadpoles and small fish in it.  But the teacher told us to be careful of the slippery moss on the stones, so we took turns going down to look.  The teacher also found a tree with a spherical spider web on it, which looked really beautiful. Taking the Tiaomi Trail with Mr.Yu you get to see many things -- flowers, grasses, insects, trees -- that you didn't notice before, so I feel a gained a lot.
