Words of Paiwan battle song:

This Paiwan battle song, singed thousands of years , is the song which the Paiwan soldiers sing before fighting.the meaning is deep.

The song’s meaning is:

It serves you right!
Why do you want to fight?
When the war comes, you grasp food slovenly.

It serves you right!
Why do you want to fight?

It serves you right!
Why do you chop others' head?
Gets what one deserves,
theothers can also chop your head.

The person should get along with peacefully,
why massacre each other ?
The fighting finished, the chieftain has died!

As a Paiwan soldier, I am the first one to go to the mourning.
