There are more than one hundred military dependents' villages in Taipei city. However, because of restriction of timing and homework, we can only interview about ten villages personally. The rebuilt villages look great and comfortable. Yet, it lost the original style and taste of a military dependents' village. They look exactly the same as other regular apartments. The ones which are not rebuilt keep the original aroma of a military dependents' village. Walking in the village, you are able to feel the strong, friendly and strong human touch. Nevertheless, the old houses and crowd allies reduce the quality of modern life. During all interviews, walking through all those houses and allies, it seems we went to the past. We do not only see the past of the villages but also meet the future of the villages.

Veterans Affairs Commission, Executive Yuan, R.O.C. is responsible for taking care of the honorary soldiers these years, and Service Centers of Honorary Soldiers are located at each regions.
