Ten members of Changhau Roaping Hakka Junior Corp have been learning from Mrs. Qiu for years and the Junior Corp has not only won many prizes but also won the honor for their school. There are at least three cabinets of history resources and teaching materials of Roaping Hakka in Mrs. Qiu's Hisotry Studio. It is just like the palace of Changhau's history and Hakka language.
Mrs. Qiu has done a lot of admirable works to recover Roaping Hakka. She believes that "Success is one percent talent and ninety-nine percent perspiration. “, stated by Thomas Edison. For the last three years, she has never stopped working on recovering and learning Roaping Hakka. She referred to the Hakka Affair Council's Hakka vocabulary materials and made the new Qiu's Hakka vocabulary material on her own, which marks the differences between Changhau Roaping Hakka and Hsinchu Roaping Hakka's accidents and pronunciations. She has made learning Raoping Hakka easy and fun.
For the last three years, Mrs. Qiu has been promoting the mother language from school to community. She has imparted Roaping Hakka to more than two student clubs, five parent-child courses, four community classes, and four Taiwanese and Hakka teaching classes. Thousands of people now can speak Hakka again.
Moreover, she has been working on eight books of local self-made teaching materials, 300 recording materials and 100 videos. Mrs. Qiu started to make teaching materials weekly and every Monday, she talked to Zhuolan Hakka Master-- Peifen Zhan on the phone. They cooperated in recovering Roaping Hakka and in three year time, she turned the tide –the desert now has a glimpse of oasis.
The students believed that Mrs. Qiu were heaven sent to recover Changhau Hakka, they bowed to Mrs. Qiu and promised her that they would keep up learning.
