Mrs. Qiu collected news articles about her in these ten years and saved them by putting them in a big poster. In ten-year time, Mrs. Qiu had not once let the grass grow under her feet. She had been ceaselessly writing the village history, promoting local history and giving interviews for up to 70 times. She is literally a famous literature and history author and a great driving force for Raoping Hakka to survive, which is amazing.

Mrs. Qiu told us that she had started writing history and literature since 2004, and in ten-year time, she had published 20 of them, including 9 village histories, 3 Huangqi reportages, Yuanlin Compilation, Yuanlin Farmers’ Association 100th Special Issue, Getting to Know Chuo-shui River, The Beauty of Intersection Historical Home, and 18 copies of Jing Siou Elementary School Special Issues.

2012 was the year she finally put her foot down and proactively stepped up to the plate. In the following year, she became the spotlight of media. In four years, her accomplishment is conspicuous. She is the savior of Changhua Raoping Hakka.

The Principal of her alma mater National Changhua University of Education –Zhang Hui Bo – had prologue in one of Mrs. Qiu’s works – Leave Marks in Nanmen complementing her for being educators’ and historians’ role model. Sun Man Ping, a professor from Department of Journalism in National Chengchi University, wrote highly of her on an international forum by calling her a dreamer who takes actions. Such a great teacher like Mrs. Qiu is the Queen of Changhua Raoping Hakka in the eyes of the Junior Corp!

Amid rounds of applause, Mrs. Qiu is never arrogant. She thanks those that had lent her a hand in the revival process and thanks her husband Yang Ming Qin for helping her with videos recording. She looks forward to getting everyone to speak Raoping Hakka and join them.
