Before getting to know Mrs. Qiu, the Junior Corps solely knew her as Raoping Hakka Master, but once they arrived at her studio, they found that she was also a famous author of education, literature and history. She had not only carried off awards such as Academia Historica Taiwanese Documentary Award, Taiwan Publishing Award, and Taiwan Literature and History Merit Award for Educators, she was also listed as the writer of New Yuanlin Compilation and New Changhua County Compilation women role model.

When asked about why she was so enthusiastic in writing that she wrote more than 20 books in 10 years, she thanked God for giving her a good brain, making her quick in action, granting her a stable job as a teacher, and giving her a virtuous husband that helped her with taking pictures and recording videos, and thus she loved what she was doing. In her 31 years of teaching, the first 15 years were spent fully in teaching at school. She published education articles on education magazines yearly. In the later 15 years, she branched out to the community, writing township history. She had written 9 village histories, 3 Huang Qi reportages and published different kinds of culture books and articles. She even established history studio in Yuan Lin, self-taught the almost extinct Raoping mother tongue and succeed in reviving the language.

Mrs.Qiu’s accomplishment in literature and history and in Raoping Hakka is well-known. Aside from being the spotlight in media, she is also famous in academia. Many professors have come to interview and consult her, and Mrs. Qiu is always earnest in discussing and answering questions. There is no exception when Raoping Junior Corp from Jing Siou Elementary School went to visit her constantly for a couple of months and bombarded with many questions. She was always patient in answering their questions. She owned two honored guests autograph books, within which there were many celebrity cards glued, and the Corps, as honored guests, got to sign the names in one of them that was called Visitors Marks.
