About the Wetlands

 

 

Qingshui Wetland, located in lower Huangxi River,

is a plain formed through alluvium by Huangxi River, Xishi River,

Qingshuixi River. The wetland is 80 hectares.

Qingshui Wetland, with its geographical advantage, becomes the first stop

of the route for migratory birds. Despite the visits paid by the red-crowned

crane family in 2007 and the stay by a Siberian crane from 2014 up to the present,

it is never made into the list of national important wetlands due to the rice paddies

that the local farmers are still using in the wetland.

But after the Siberian White crane came here, Cingshuei Wetland was much attention and conservation.
The little white cranes just liked an angel came here and let everyone pay attention to the wetlands.

Although most of the tourists came to Cingshuei Wetland was for little white cranes.。

In fact, Cingshuei Wetland is seen as the focal point. If the wetlands don’t have rich ecosystem.and how red-crowned cranes and white cranes will stay in the Cingshuei Wetland.

 

  • 2007: four red-crowned cranes stayed at Qingshui Wetland.
  • 2008: The construction of Huangqing Bridge began and finished in 2010.
  • 2014: A Siberian Crane began staying in Qingshui Wetland, Jinshan.
