Before “Seediq Bale" was on, our team got a sneak preview. We went to a
mysterious place in a mountain in Linkou, Taipei -- The Arrow Cinematic.
I believe that you must be very curious why we came here! According to
reliable sources, the movie scenes were built by The Arrow Cinematic,
including the Wushe Street, Police Station, and Japanese school. Let’s
go!
First stop: we sneaked into the the Wushe police station excitedly! The
furnishings and décor shows the police station all the time. We could
almost see the Incident happened in front of us.
Following Mr. Lin, we went to the Japanese houses built by director Wei
Te-sheng. Although it was empty, we still could see the Japanese
lifestyle.
When we saw the Wushe Street, it seemed that we took a space machine to
the Wushe incident. We were stunt by the Japanese buildings, grocery
store, the Police station, and the school playground. Although it was
fake cherry blossoms on the trees, we could not find a word to describe
this beautiful scenery.

In
the beginning, we had an appointment with Mr. Xu, but the service staff
said our appointment is Mr. Zhang. We were confused. It turned out Mr.
Xu was our interviewer and Mr. Zhang was our tour guide. Mr. Zhang took
us to visit the various departments of the Taipei Postproduction. We saw
movie-making process and editing, as well as machine operation and a
little cinema where the surround sound and picture quality were really
good. We asked a few questions and learned a lot.
The
Arrow Cinematic Group is Taiwan's largest movie-shooting company. 90% of
the movie comes from the Arrow, including movies, advertising, and MTV.
Luckily, this time we visited the "Seediq Bale” studio.
