by the Keelung Riverbank, some of the residences in Dazhi
possess a great river view. The real estate market here in
Dazhi keeps prospering due to its great location. Living standards
are above the average among different communities in Taipei.
Dazhi residents can enjoy living in a natural environment
while working in the nearby commercial area. No wonder Dazhi
is considered as a ¡§golden location¡¨ for living though it's
located outside the heart of Taipei City.

The
¡§Dragon-Shape¡¨ Dazhi Community
We invited Mr. Lien Yi-Chou, who is in charge of Dazhi Studio
of Culture and History, to tell us about the landscape, anecdotes
and some interesting facts about Dazhi. Mr. Lien showed us an
ancient map of Dazhi. He said that the geographical shape of
Dazhi area is like a dragon. At first we couldn't see that
from the map. Then Mr. Lien took out a transparent to put on
the map and drew a dragon with a dragon ball on its nose. We
were all stunned! Dazhi really looked like a dragon, the dragon
ball indicates Yuanshan, while the nose of the dragon happens
to be the location of Grand Hotel! Our teacher made an animation
according to this map. Let's take a look and see if it's really
a dragon!
