| “2004
Taiwan Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band Instructors Seminar
Clubs” organized by Taiwan Band Association was held from
Aug. 2th separately in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung cities.
We invited the American famous music writer, conductor and
Band educationist: Mr. Bruce Person to be as a instructor
in order to let all the instructors attendants involved the
most efficient music band professional skills. |
Introduction
for Instructor:
Mr. Bruce Pearson is the famous
music writer、Music
Band instructor professor and conductor; his students are
spread over American fifty states even the Europe
、Asia
and Canada all left his history and achievements there. Whenever
he conducts the state music bands among Intrastate, he often
attends the relative colleges worldwide as the roles of guest
lecturer and guest conductor to have a speech; he is also
a policy spokesman for the “American Music Education Labor
Union”. With contributing much endeavors on education with
30 years long, he won many prizes including “Outstanding Education
Prize”、”Minnesota
the most contribution Music Teacher”、and
year 1998 December ”Midwest Clinic Medal of Honor”; these
all earned his commendations in this field.

| Introduction
for lessons:
The
Seminar lessons are total with 2 days long which is aimed
at the Music Band instructing methods from Mr. Bruce Pearson
in order to let the participants in the seminar club to complete
the learning musical instruments besides the major item even
to succeed to teach students in the same time. For example:
the teachers not major in Percussion Instruments; from this
learning, they are able to teach others the Percussion items
or vocal music in the short period. From which you can learn
the professional skill to play the musical instruments and
the way to train up the band in an efficient way. All attendants
should carry their own instruments to join the live ensemble
lessons. |

International
native of Taiwan Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band teachers、Taiwan
Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band teachers、Domestic
various military band leading members、The
leader teacher of Taiwan Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band
teachers in school or the teachers who have higher willing
to be the instructors for music band in school. |
