  Outstanding   Tian-Shan Hang

            Tian-Shan Hang is located in bustling Dihua street,and it opened since 70^th year of the Republic Era. The first generation boss had a part time job here in the past, and his son JIA-AN,ZHOU takes the store over now.

           Tian-Shan Hang is the second grocery store that we interview. It doesn’t like other grocery stores which fill with groceries on the wall. He uses transparent showcases to show their theme merchandise,and he lights showcases with yellow light. It really makes people feel like warm and it makes groceries look like arts.

           With the reconstruction plans of the government, Tian-Shan Hung turned original design into a brand-new style. The boss JIA-AN,ZHOU want to use the space of second floor to show its own features. It is still hard to carry out,and he’s still working. In the process of rebuilding, the boss JIA-AN,ZHOU try to make some differences from other gocery stores,and make more attraction for young people.

        When we interview with JIA-AN,ZHOU,we find something special that there are some bricks and tiles under the desk. Putting those bricks and tiles under the desk is in order to attract people to notice not only groceries but also something interesting about the first store or history of Dihua Street.

          The boss JIA-AN,ZHOU tell us that grocery stores are more difficult to run, and you must have your own features. JIA-AN,ZHOU find some ways to make his store more specia. He goes abroad to looking for some specialties,like Thai’s sauce ,and he  devides goods into small packings for fitting with the requirments of nuclear family.

           The most popular goods in the store is mushrooms which come from China and Taiwan,and customers can pick mushrooms up to their own flavor. Tian-Shan Hung doesn’t have its own web site,and they still sell their own goods by other web site.The boss also notice that the popular goods in the store are different from e-shopping.

           Finally,when talk about the plan of Tian-Shan Hang in the future, JIA-AN,ZHOU have a specia idea in his mind. He want to open a restaurant, and customers can pick up groceries from the store for dinning in the restaurant.

           Through this interview, they have a lot of difficulties when they run the grocery store.But they still make their efforts to adjust for catching up with changes and customers’ diet habbits.Let’s make the traditional industry excellent.
