Triangle

Triangles are a type of idiophone instruments. They are made of metal, usually with steel, and are bent into trangle shapes. Bands use triangles to make sound effects.

When playing the triangle, one holds the string of the traingle with one hand and strikes the triangle with a metallic beater by using the other hand. After striking, one could stop the sound with hands if necessary.

There are two ways to make sound effects with triangles, which are single strike or continuous strikes. Single strikes are used to embellish the music while continuous strikes are used to elevate the power of the music.
