Cats clean themselves, so they don't need to be showered very often. You can bathe the shorthaired cat once every 3 to 12 months, and once every 2 to 3 months for the longhaired cat. But it's better for you t brush their hair everyday.

Every one to two weeks.

You can use the ear cleaner. Rub the root of the cat's ears after one single drop in, and let the cat shake its head. Afterwards, dry the out portion of the ear with tissue paper.
