Taiwan Aboriginal Culture Park By: JIANG HAO TIAN
The park is located at Beiye Village, Pingtung County in Majia Township where the three aboriginal townships. The distance from Pingtung City is only 24 km, with convenient transportation. In the neighborhood are villages of the Paiwan and Rukai Tribes. The park was established in 1985, covering about 82 hectares and exhibits aboriginal cultures of nine tribes of Taiwan. It is divided into four areas: a welcoming area, Tamaluwan District, Naluwan District, and Fuguwan District. The altitude is between 145m and 220m, the landforms are rather rugged, the landscape of the nature is very pretty and with changes. The area for welcoming guests is located at the entrance of the park with facilities displaying historic relics, a Handicrafts Hall, an Audio & Visual Hall, an octagon-shaped Special Exhibit Hall, and Information office.
