| To make our project more complete and possible to carry out, we referred to many related cases in Taiwan before we started the project. Also, we analyzed and charted the process and results, listing out the pros and cons of each case in order to find out the possibility in our plan. What follows are our analyzing charts for cases in northern, middle, and southern Taiwan. Owing to the fact that our target is on Taichung City, we give the priority to the cases in middle Taiwan, hoping to make the government more easily refer to while conducting new laws and regulations. |
| The Taipei Ximending Shopping district is the pioneer in Taiwan to block a street , and was also the most successful and eminent one. The conducting plan was mainly divided into three steps, and they even performed a try-out before execution. So far, the plan of blocking the district has been successfully carried out for fourteen years. Although there are still some complaints, the comments are mostly positive. |
