The animation used simple narration of history to present the origin of Grand Hotel.
First, it shows the island that we live on—Taiwan. Two dolphins make a cross to show the shell of the North. (Yuan Shan Shell mound is a famous site. That is why we used a shell to represent Grand Hotel) The screen then shows Taipei Fu Chen (Taipei Fu Chen is old Taipei city) then the screen moves to show Yuan Shan with Taiwan temple on top, which was the old building on the site of Grand Hotel. It was later torn down to build Grand Hotel.
