At the earlier stage, farmers had hard time on life; they had no too much food to eat. Repeating cooking of the balance food cannot keep the nutrition. That is why we instructed women to take care of family members' nutrition; that means that they looked after farmers' health. So the female plays the important role in the home.

Things are always more tough on the beginning; there were only 2 or 3 persons joining it. With the assistance from Mr. Li, Tien-He's wife: Mrs. Li-Yeh, Ming-Ching, she encouraged and found the neighbors to fix a class with 15 members. So she was the leader of the 1st term from housecraft class.

At the earlier age, the credit Department of Farmers' Association had hard time without budget to promote. So the Farmers' Association should lay on the subsidiary from "Council of Agricultural and Forestry Executive Yuan, Taiwan" (now is called Agriculture and Food Agency Council of Agricultural Executive Yuan, Taiwan"). After creating the housecraft class, it was assisted by the staffs of Hsien Farmers' Association. The more tough lessons in the class were to hold the study camp; members kept arriving late and less people to join. This was the place I feel embarrassed to the teachers. But currently, most of the members
are glad to attend; this is totally different from before.
