 From the "Ho-Shang-Jou Credit Unit"during Japanese-governed
period to the current "LuJou Farmers?Association"
One generation plants the trees, another gets the shade.
Most of the citizens lived on the farm activities and with thrifty lifestyle during the Japanese-governed time.  Around hundred years ago, some of the farmer citizens organized relative Farmers' units.
1900 : Taiwan Farmers' Association began, LuJou ,HsinChu and Chang Hwa branch offices established
1919 : Mr. Li Huo-Sheng founded the 「Ho-Shang-Jou Credit Unit」
1931 : Reorganize to be the「Lu-Jou Credit Purchase/Vendor Utility Unit」
1943 : Rename as the「Lu-Jou-Chang Farmers' Association」
1945 : Rename as the「LuJou Credit Cooperative」
1949 : Rename as the 「LuJou Farmers' Association」till now
During the above period controlled and managed by the Japanese, most of the croppers are odor,citrus,vegetable as the main items.  So the role played by Farmers?Association is as the communication and transmitting windows for production technology even did great helps for the improving and marketing of planting products.

Year 40-50 is the hardest period; all in the same boat
During the restoration period between 1953 and 1968, the businesses from LuJou Farmers? Association were not so good.  But after the fully supports of whole employees and citizens, it improved apparently and started to get surplus.  In 1974, because of growing business needed, they planned to construct a 2-floor commercial building to keep going; this was as the stepping-stone for the important development in the future.

To decide and switch following with the outer environment
For the past 20 years, the land applications ,economy, social structure in LuJou also change rapidly; these were because of the industry and commercial developments in faster speed.   Especially, it was under the impacts such as the protecting embankment constructions of Anti Flood, Land rearrangement, MTR lines construction and so on, most of the farm lands are replaced by Industry ,Transportation, Urban Landmark.  Besides these, the agriculture businesses were catching with the modern trend in order to let the Farmers? Association have more contacts with members during the sharp change progress.

1982:Farmers? Shopping Center opened
1984:LuJou Farmers? magazine launched
1985:Credit Department of Chung-Shan office opened
1986:e-commercial business of Credit Department established
1989: Credit Department of Hui-Yao office opened
1995: New office Building started to construct
1997: apply with Farmers? Association CIS system
1997: change the administration region to be Farmers? Association of LuJou city
1998: New semi-intelligent building openness
2004: Cheng Kung branch office ,Hui-Yao branch office settled down

The Farmers?Association also offers the various services to their members.  In the June of 1982, it constructed a brand modern building aside the old one under the urgent requirements of increasing businesses; this leads LuJou Farmers?Association to an up-to-date milestone. 
What worth to mention is that the magazine: LuJou Farmers?magazine launched in the October of 1984 by Farmers? Association is going to celebrate its 23-year old birthday.。

Take and Feedback
The accumulated amount of deposit of Credit Department was over ten hundred millions 20 years ago and the joined members were up to thousands people.  What is target from Farmers? Association is always the"Take and Feedback to our Society"as service purpose.
As for the recent ten years, they withdraw millions dollars from surplus of Credit Department as budget to do the Agriculture promotions and culture welfare services.  Moreover, they put more attention on the various local activities such as Folk Festivals, Physical Culture and Local public welfare to feedback.
The most different from the other enterprises is that LuJou Farmers? Association applies the creating profit to feedback directly to their homeland: the LuJou citizens.
