Suggested Tours

To visit Dungyin, visitors are advised to take "Tai-Ma Ferry." For visitors who take planes, they will arrive Nangan Airport and then have to take a shuttle boat to Dungyin. It takes around eight hours for Tai-Ma Ferry to arrive Dungyin from Keelung. The ferry take turns launching cruises amoung Keelung, Dungyin, and Nangan. For questions about which is the first stop, visitors can call or log on the website of Shinhwa Ferry. There are commuter boat daily between Dungyin and Nangan.

-- Transportation on the isle: There regular taxis before Chungchu Port, so it is very convenient to hail one. Otherwise, visitors can rent scooters at their hotels.

Notification for Visitors

1. Fog season comes during March to May. It is when flight schedule changes irregularly. Visitors who want to take airplane to Dungyin from Nangan must confirm with the airliners beforehand.
2. Each isle is connected by sea transportation. Owing to unstable oceanic weather, visitors should pay attention to daily cruise schedules and arrive the port ten minutes before the departure.
3. When going around the isles, visitors are advised to wear light garment. During the summer, they should do sun protection, while in the winter, they should beware of strong wind and coldness.
4. Because the isle is a hill, so the roads have many steep slope. Visitors who rent scooters should be careful of their own safety.
5. When taking photos, do not take views directly of military camps.
6. To visit Yi Sian Tian, visitors must apply for permit from Dungyin Tourist Center.
